WR Martino:Ppart of Trio of Moves

The Eagles’ players were off from practice on Monday, however, the team did declare the signing of wide receiver Freddie Martino, previously from the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles also launched wide receiver John Harris and waived/hurt defensive end Frank Mays because of a finger tendon injuries.

Martino was initially signed by Atlanta being an undrafted free agent in May 2014 and spent a lot of his rookie season around the Falcons’ practice squad. His skill was on occupied display within the Falcons’ 2014 preseason finale against Jacksonville, because he blew through the defense for a 67-yard touchdown catch.

Just before joining the Falcons, Martino was a four-year starter at Division II North Greenville. He totaled 3,766 yards and 26 touchdowns using the Crusaders, outlined by his 2013 season by which he caught a Division II-record 146 passes.

Harris was signed through the Eagles being an undrafted free agent from Texas earlier this May. Mays was signed through the Eagles like a rookie free agent in 2014 but was launched prior to the finish of Training Camp. He came back towards the Eagles the 2009 offseason. A new face for the Eagles to start the game for 2015 with the new set of players.
